October 25, 2015

Greetings Quashnet School Community,
Here we are in the last week of October - approximately 20% of the school year is behind us!   It is a good time to evaluate if we are on our way to making this the best year ever.  Please keep in mind that every moment counts - be in school all day every day, focus, ask questions and remember that effort and attitude makes the difference.
Need books?  The Quashnet School book fair begins this week.  It is a great opportunity for students and adults to add to their personal library.  Supporting the book fair helps to support students and teachers in the school.  Thank you, PTO, for organizing this event for the school community and to the volunteers that are willing to give their time.
I hope parents/guardians have had the opportunity to sign up for parent-teacher conferences.  I am including the link in case you missed the first notice.  If you have any problems or challenges with this process email, call, or stop in the office and we will assist you to ensure you have an opportunity to meet with your child's teacher.  Please note that all teachers are available for parent-teacher conferences. We do not schedule conferences with special subject teachers, but they will be available on a drop-in basis.

Make it a great week ahead and have a safe and happy Halloween!  Clocks change next weekend, November 1 - fall back!
Regards,
Mrs. O'Brien
