Quashnet Robotics!

A big congratulations to Avery Hartnett, Cameron Burd, Grant Damron, and Jesse Klopfer for ranking 13th (out of roughly 100 teams in the regional robotics competition) in the Southern New England region for VEX IQ!  They did such a good job working as a team and their hard work paid off.

ST Math Updates

Reminders about Drinks and Toys in School

With the growing popularity of Stanley Tumblers, we've seen an uptick in students in particular in fifth and sixth grade bringing drinks in the morning other than water. We have also seen Dunkin Donuts drink increase in the morning for students in all grades. This a reminder to everyone that only water is permitted in the classrooms. Students should not be coming to school in the morning with other drinks. Drinks other than water can be consumed at lunch in the cafeteria.

Additionally, toys are not permitted in school. They distract from learning and can create issues if lost. This includes sports trading cards. The exception to this is items that students earn at school through our Right Choice Ticket Store, and in this case, students should take the items home and leave them home if they are toys.

Parent Survey

Please take the time to fill out the parent survey for the Quashnet School. It will take approximately 10 minutes. This is a tremendous opportunity to provide feedback about your child's school. As administrators, we spend quite a bit of time over the summer looking at your responses and making changes to improve the school based on your thoughts.

As of now, we have 104 responses from families. My hope is that we'll hear from at least half of our student's families. With approximately 415 students in the school, I'd like to see us get over 200 responses. Please help us reach our goal of 200 responses. Everyone who responds is entered in a drawing to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card.
