Dear Quashnet School Community,
Monday, October 31st, is Orange and Black Day at Quashnet School school. Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween Monday night!
Students are encouraged to donate any extra candy to the troops. K-Kids is collecting candy to be mailed in care packages to family and friends who are in the armed services. The collection box is in the front lobby near the main office. Any and all individually wrapped candy is appreciated.
The K-Kids are still looking for names of service people who would like a special delivery from Quashnet students. Please send addresses to Ms. Manning @ smanning@mpspk12.org. Thank you!
It is amazing the changes that occur within a month. Be sure to take time to recognize the changes around you. Welcome November!
You may have noticed a furry friend in the Positive Sign Thursday photos.
Meet Jenny! She is an 8-month-old mini golden doodle, and very fluffy!
Jenny comes to work every Thursday morning with Nurse Terri. She is a therapy dog in training, and she is quite popular. Jenny visits classrooms, helps in the health office, and is a great friend to walk with.
Thank you Nurse Terri for sharing Jenny with us each week!
Crazy Hat Bingo was a fun night for all last Friday evening. Thank you to the Quashnet PTO for sponsoring this annual family event. The emcees, Mr. Blackburn and Mr. Williams made it fun for all. Even if Mr. Blackburn was a little "grouchy"! Thank you Mrs. Pons for always being a helping hand!
Everyone was a B-I-N-G-O winner!
