October 11, 2020

Dear Quashnet School Community,

There will be no school on Monday, October 12, 2020, in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day. We are very fortunate to live in a community that is diverse and recognizes the rich culture of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. Our school community is stronger and better due to our growing partnership. It is wonderful to see the pride in our Native American students as they share their traditions through song, dance, drumming, and regalia. This picture was taken during an assembly last fall in the Quashnet gymnasium.

Symptoms of illness that require a student to stay home:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath

  • Sore throat

  • Loss of taste or smell

  • Nausea/Vomiting/Diarrhea
