Dear Quashnet School Community, 

Wishing you all a wonderful Memorial Day weekend~  As well as being the unofficial start to the summer season, it is also a time to remember our American veterans who have preserved our freedoms and have supported others in their quest for liberty around the world. Their sacrifices are not forgotten.    

I would like to thank all of our amazing volunteers who participated in Career Day 2019. Students were interested, engaged, and enjoyed learning about the variety of possible opportunities that await them. Thank you, Mrs. MacIntire, for organizing this wonderful annual event.

The last PTO meeting for the school year was on Wednesday, May 22nd. With sincere thanks to the PTO board, President Tracy Fischer, Treasurer Robert Blackburn, Secretary Cathy Lewis, and Board Member Mark McGrory for their time, energy, and support for Quashnet students. Their work and that of all those who participated made a difference for students through the enhancement of classroom libraries, multiple field trip sponsorships, the Grade 6 BBQ, the Family BBQ, Family Game Night, recess equipment including a soon to be installed gaga-pit on the big playground, picnic tables outside, guest presenters, spirit wear, and more.
