The fifth-grade classes will be welcoming Mr. Sean Cahill from the Barnstable County Sheriff's Department as we kick-off the G.R.E.A.T. Program this week!  This program is nationally recognized and helps educate students in Gang Resistance Education and Training.  For detailed information check out this link -  https://www.great-online.org/GREAT-Home . The GREAT Program is also recognized locally as a recommended program in the fight against addiction. We are lucky to have such a great community partnership with Mr. Cahill and the Sheriff's Department.  If you visit the school you will see his marked car over the next two months - this is a "great" thing!

The week before break, we had some interesting things going on around Quashnet...

Mr. W found a twin!
Mrs. McKay's class - a land of immigrants!
Water Festival fun....a interesting day for grade 5!
Bravo to our drama club students
          for a fine performance!

Be sure to check out the other pictures on the picture tab above.  I hope you all have a productive week ahead.  Looking forward to welcoming everyone back Monday morning!
