Greetings Quashnet School Community,
As you are aware, Monday, October 10th, there is no school in observance of Columbus Day. Tuesday, will be Day 6 in our cycle, and before and after school activities will meet as scheduled. Hidden in Plain Sight will be at Mashpee Public Library on Wednesday and Thursday for parents to tour at 1:00, 6:00 and 6:45 PM. This is an opportunity for parents/guardians to educate themselves about drug-awareness and prevention. Please connect with Megan Leonard at MMHS to register at mleonard@mashpee.k12.ma.us. If you need assistance please call the Quashnet office and we will be happy to help.

On Wednesday, October 12th, there will be a mock election at both MMHS and QS. Students will only be voting for the presidential candidates on a google doc. If you do not want your child to participate please let your child's classroom teacher know. School results will be shared!
If you haven't had a chance to see our wonderful Mrs. Emery, Mrs. McCue, and our caring sixth graders at Stop and Shop with the Patriot basket, please stop in the office to register to win tickets to a game along with Patriots paraphernalia. Entering to win the basket is free, but if you would like to make a donation, all proceeds are going to our Falcon Family Fund, to help Quashnet community members in need.
We are still working to register Stop and Shop A+ shoppers. If you haven't registered your cards yet, please consider going online at Stop and Shop A+, and pick the school of your choice. You can even register for two schools if you would like. This is a painless fundraiser and by selecting Quashnet School you are supporting clubs, activities, and field trips right here at Quashnet. Thank you for your support!
Welcome back Tom Brady! Let's go RED SOX!
Have a wonderful Falcon Five week ahead!
Respectfully,
Mrs. O'Brien
