Report Cards Tomorrow

Trimester 1 report cards are coming home to students tomorrow, Monday, December 11, 2023, in manilla envelopes. Envelopes need to be signed by parents/guardians and returned to classroom teachers no later than this Friday, December 15, 2023. So many students have worked with great effort this trimester! Everyone should keep up the great work!

Pasta Dinner this Thursday!!

We are very excited that the Pasta Dinner is this week, on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, 5:30pm-6:30pm. Please RSVP by returning the bottom of the invitation your child brought home a couple weeks ago. If you no longer have the slip and want to RSVP, please send an email to Mrs. Milde, kmilde@mpspk12.org, stating how many people are attending from your family. So far we have over 150 people who are planning to attend, and we hope to see even more of you there!

Missed Calls from the Office to Parents

Recently, we've got an influx in the office of parents/guardians calling our main office stating they have a missed call from the Quashnet School phone number and asking why. Please understand that if a staff member calls you they will leave a voicemail. In the instance that you do not have a voicemail, it is most likely a scenario where your child calls you from the school phone.

If you get a missed call from our school number, please wait a moment to see if a voicemail is left before calling back so you know how to direct your call when you call the school back. If no one leaves a voicemail and you'd like to call back, please let the person know on the phone and they can check in with your child to see if they did in fact call you about something.

Cold Weather Recess-Dress Appropriately

Please know that we make every attempt to get students outside for recess unless there is inclement weather. As long as the "Feels Like" temperature is 20 degrees or higher, we will have outdoor recess. Students need to be dressed appropriately to go out to recess, so students should be wearing jackets and other cold weather gear on cold days to school throughout the winter.

Spirit Week is One Week Away

During the pandemic, many fun activities at school were not able to be held. It is time we bring fun back to school. Having a great Spirit Week is a great way to do that. The idea of the spirit week is to have fun, promote teamwork among homerooms, and celebrate school pride. Classes and students have this week to plan since Spirit Week is one week away!

It’s GREAT to be in MASHPEE,

A Connected Community.
