Dear Quashnet School Community,
How nice to see the sun today! We have to soak it in while we can. Tomorrow morning is going to be an early one with the clock change, but it will be nice to have the light later in the evening. March is turning out to be the busiest of all months. Below is a list of events and links for your convenience. March 12th, 19th, and 26th - Botvin Lifeskills - Parent/guardian workshops on communication with children, anxiety, and substance use. There are two sessions each day, 8:15 and 5:30 pm. Come to all three or selected sessions. Sign up at https://goo.gl/forms/Vd5qqSSmpgHlgRG13 - it's not too late!
March 14 - BLUE and WHITE Day at Quashnet School.
March 15, 6:30 pm - Music in Our Schools Concert @ MMHS
Get there early! This is a district-wide event and the MMHS gym fills quickly, it is an outstanding celebration of Mashpee student musicians.
March 16, NO SCHOOL for STUDENTS
This Friday is a full day staff professional day.
March 18, 1:30-3:00 pm - Mashpee Family Skate @ Gallo Rink in Bourne
This is the third annual Mashpee Family Skate event organized by Quashnet teachers, Miss Ali Keohane and Miss Bretti Keohane. Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the Massachusetts and Quashnet School Special Olympics. We appreciate Gallo Arena's donation of the sheet of ice and free use of rental skates. Come out and have fun!
March 29, 6:00 pm - Quashnet School Talent Show at MMHS.
Another awesome night to celebrate our talented students. Come for a fabulous night of entertainment!
March 30, 6-8 pm - Family Paint Night
Coming soon is the family paint night. For $10 per painter, families can spend an evening together exploring their creative side. Just like a field trip, cost should never limit participation. We are seeking your input on our 2018 MPS Family Opinion Survey. A survey invitation was emailed to each family on Monday, February 26th. On March 1st, a reminder email was sent out to all families who had not yet responded. The survey email would have come to you via Survey Monkey. We would greatly appreciate your checking back through your emails and taking a few minutes to complete the survey. You must click the "submit" button at the end of the survey for your responses to be collected.
