Greetings Quashnet School Community,


Thank you for coming to Open House last Thursday night.  It was great to see so many of you and welcome you back to Quashnet.  For families unable to come, please know it is easy to contact your child(ren)'s teacher.  All faculty members can be reached the following way:  first initial, last name@mpspk12.org.  For example, my email address is mobrien@mpspk12.org.  Regular home/school communication supports student success.

During Open House, I heard from several families that they have not been receiving my Sunday night email or the weekly emails from Superintendent DeBoer.  If this is the case, please call the Quashnet office at 508-539-1550 and let us know.  It means there is an error in our data system and we will be happy to correct it. It is through our data management system that all electronic notices go out including emergency notifications, a school cancellation or a delay. Everyone will be requested to verify the accuracy of the information we have on file through the Info Snap program.  Details will be sent out from the IT department soon.

We truly value all the support through PTO, and the Quashnet staff looks forward to working with the new team.  First meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 27th at 6:00 PM in the Quashnet School library.  

The QS/KCC PTO BBQ was a great success!  There is nothing better than to see so many kids just playing, running, and having fun with each other. A connected community is a healthy community. Thank you to our community partners, 99 Restaurant, Panara, Stop & Shop, and Roche Brothers, to name a few.  A special thank you to Gus Stickley who always supports our students and PTO initiatives.  

Have you signed your child up for any after school clubs yet?  Use this link to register now:  Club Registration - registration will close tomorrow, Monday, September 18th. Once the registration has closed, Mrs. Pagano, in the office, will be sending home confirmation slips to families. The confirmation slip is to confirm your child's participation in a club and the dates it will meet.  As previously indicated, based on interest, the number of sessions may be adjusted, if there are fewer than ten participants a club may be canceled.  Clubs and the late bus will begin the week of September 25, 2017.  The late bus will leave Quashnet at 3:30 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There is no late bus on Mondays or Fridays.
