Double Rainbow, Mashpee |
Dear Quashnet School Community,
It is hard to believe that this is the last week of school! I want to thank you all for your support this year. Without our amazing students, outstanding staff, generous volunteers, and supportive parents Quashnet School would not be the wonderful place it is to learn and grow. I sincerely thank you ALL for ALL YOU DO!
With that being said, it is hard to nominate just one Volunteer of the Year. I would like to acknowledge Mrs. Leslie Handy who earned that title last week. Mrs. Handy volunteered four days a week all year in the library. This was so helpful as Mrs. Nelson spent her mornings at KCC, our library remained opened for students with her support.
As PTO President, Mrs. Deb Flaherty was given a special recognition award from both KCC and QS. Her leadership and willingness to take on all tasks big and small are so appreciated.
We appreciate all of our volunteers - you enrich the school environment and support student learning with your time.

Your child's next year's teacher will be listed on their report card. To ensure that your child receives their report card, please be sure to return ALL library books and that your child does not have an outstanding balance with the lunch room. Report cards are held when there is a financial obligation and can be picked up anytime throughout the summer.
We wish ALL of our amazing sixth graders much success as they head off to the middle school. They are ready to spread their falcon wings! Please know students and families, you are ALWAYS welcome at Quashnet School. You are part of the fabric that makes us Quashnet strong! We look forward to reading about you and seeing your successes. Remember the first Walk of Honor on June 3 at QS when MMHS seniors walked our halls, and know that we will be here ready to greet you when you return in your caps and gowns.
